I haven't posted in here in, like, forever, so I just wanted to share some Jon stories and pictures. :)
We're remodeling the kitchen and Jonathan was ... er... "helping." :)
At the zoo with big sis, Olivia (they weigh the same and she's 5!!!)
Was interested in the Easter Egg Hunt until he realized that there was a bulldozer working next door. Then it was all over.
Mmmmmmm... lo mein! (One of the few foods he will eat without utensils.)
Country Roads... take me home... :)
His favorite food right now is chicken pot pie (the recipe's on the Bisquick box. It's a snap.) He won't eat anything he can't eat, himself, with a fork. This means everything, even raisins, have to go on a fork.
No potty training, yet, although he is fascinated with flushing the toilet. That's a good sign, right?
We are well into the terrible twos. The tantrums have started in earnest. He gets mad, screams at the top of his lungs, even bangs his head on the floor. What's up with that?!?!
He is obsessed with anything that has wheels. When my husband's street-rod buddies get together, he could burst through a brick wall to get to them. He can hear those cars coming from blocks away and he runs to the door and screams "DADDY! VROOM, VROOM!!!"
I am thankful that he does go to bed, well. He's a good sleeper, unless his schedule is thrown off, like if we're traveling. But even traveling, he isn't too bad.
He can say a few words, and it seems like he learns a hundred every day! Just the other day, I went to put him to bed. I said, "Jon, say 'night-night!'" And he said, "No, SHOES!" Apparently, "shoes" is the opposite of "night-night" because you put your shoes on when it's time to get up and go!
I can't believe August is not really that far away! We're staring down "2" already! Can you believe that?
